DANCE RISING
When we originally conceived of Dance Rising in August 2020, we thought it could be a one-off action.
As we look ahead to the next 6-9 months and listen to colleagues and artists, we see a need for continued activity that unites the NYC dance field and focuses public attention on our industry. We have reached a juncture where funding is critical in order to sustain Dance Rising, compensate individuals who are working on the project, and build on the momentum we have created.
